Beach Stories

Look at the great stories we wrote about the beach today.
Some of us are learning to write our name, and some of us can copy words to write a story. Some of us can write some good words by ourselves and we are trying to write the sounds we hear in new words.
We have some really good artists in our class.

More Beach Photos

We made faboulous sandcastles when we went to the beach. Georgie, Piper and William worked very hard. When we went for our swim the waves came right up and washed our sandcastles away.

Our Day At The Beach.

Today was the best day ever.
We went to the beach to learn about safety in the water and being sun smart. The lifeguards taught us for the day.
Rule number 1 is "Always swim between the flags".
Rule number 2 is "If you get into trouble put your hand up".
We learnt to Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap to keep safe in the sun.

Ben dressed like a lifeguard and Max had to pretend he needed help. Ben saved him with a rescue tube.

Ben used binoculars to search the sea for trouble.

Life guards use surf skis to rescue people. The also have races to see who is the fastest.

We had lots of fun in the water. There were lots of waves to jump over and some of us even dived under the waves. The water tasted salty.

Some of us had never been to the beach before. We were A+ Adventurous by trying new things even though the waves looked very big at first.
It was a great day. We will be tired at school tomorrow!!!
